Event: Michael to exhibit Watts farm plans in group show (March 25)

Michael’s efforts with SCI-Arc’s Community Design program and Project Food L.A. to investigate urban food infrastructure has led to speculative plans for a new working farm in Watts. These plans will be on display in “UNPLANNED: Research and Experiments at the Urban Scale,” opening March 25 at the Pacific Design Center under the auspices of SUPERFRONT LA. The show closes July 2.

Per the press release:

“Leveraging an interdisciplinary focus, UNPLANNED boldly presents a collection of radical methods for envisioning and producing space at the urban scale.”

The show will feature over 20 multidisciplinary practitioners addressing emergent urbanism in original ways.  More info, including opening reception details, is here.

SUPERFRONT LA is the temporary off-shoot of Brooklyn’s SUPERFRONT, a gallery and project space promoting experiments in architecture.
